Stage Two of the Australind and Leschenault Heritage Trail is now complete, offering residents and visitors the perfect opportunity to explore the rich heritage of this historic coastal town.
Following the successful completion of stage one of the project funded by a grant from the Local Roads and Community Infrastructure program, the Destination Harvey Region Team is proud to unveil stage two of the Australind and Leschenault Heritage Trail. Stage two of the trail was made possible thanks to support from Heritage WA. The extended trail now features some of Australind’s most iconic heritage sites, including the charming St Nicholas’ Anglican Church, the beautifully preserved Henton Cottage, and the grand Upton House.
These landmarks tell the story of Australind’s early settlers and the development of the town, bringing local history to life with interpretive signage and storytelling.
