Running from 11-13 September 2026, Harvey Region Heritage Festival will bring our heritage to life through intimate, immersive experiences, unique heritage events and family-friendly activities across the region.

90 years of Brunswick Hall... a celebration through the decades.
On Saturday 12 September, step into the historic Brunswick Town Hall for an evening celebrating nine decades of community, tradition and shared memories.
Enjoy a two-course buffet dinner before settling in for an evening of music from across the generations, with Johnny Jukebox Standley and the Australind Senior High School Band providing the soundtrack.
The evening draws inspiration from the many occasions that have brought the community together within Brunswick Hall over the years — agricultural society balls, cabarets, debutante balls, weddings, family celebrations and community fundraisers.
There will also be a mini-auction hosted by the Brunswick Lions Club.
A fitting celebration of a much-loved local landmark and the generations of people who have made it part of Brunswick’s story.

⛪ Step inside one of Australind’s historic treasures
As part of the Harvey Region Heritage Festival, St Nicholas Anglican Church, affectionately known as “St Nics," will open its doors to visitors on 12 and 13 September.
Dating back to Australind’s early settlement, St Nicholas is one of Western Australia’s oldest and smallest churches, offering a unique opportunity to step inside a place that has played a part in the local community for generations.
Volunteers will be on hand throughout the weekend to welcome you and share the story of this special heritage building.

Browse a curated selection of handmade goods from local makers, alongside vintage finds and unique antiques from the Southern WA Collectors Club. Take your time, explore the stalls and perhaps uncover something you didn’t know you were looking for.
The market will also feature a selection of heritage-inspired experiences throughout The Village Markets precinct, including a local history display from Australind Library and vintage bicycles offering a glimpse into the past.

As part of the Harvey Region Heritage Festival, join the Ridley Place Foreshore parkrun on Saturday 12 September for a fun, FREE 5km community event along the beautiful Leschenault Estuary.
Before you set off, learn a little more about Australind’s past with a talk about the Australind Heritage Trail, then choose your own pace... walk, jog or run! The course takes in several historic points along the trail, making this more than just your average Saturday morning parkrun.
Whether you`re a regular park runner, first-timer, volunteer or simply there to cheer everyone on, everyone is welcome.
