Experience the Harvey Region Heritage Festival, a three-day celebration of the local art, culture and food that has shaped our region throughout the years.

Running from 11-13 September 2026, this festival will bring our heritage to life through intimate, immersive experiences, unique heritage events and family-friendly activities across the region.

 From self-guided walking tours to heritage-themed workshops, open days and food inspired by the region’s cultural roots—this is heritage with a difference.

About the Harvey Region

This is Wardandi and Bindjareb Boodja (Country). First Nation people have walked our Region for thousands and thousands of years. In the 1830s, our first European settlers arrived.

During your visit to the Harvey Region, learn our heritage and culture from our First Nations people, discover our unique connection with India, some of the oldest farming homesteads in Western Australia, the beginning of a thriving timber, dairy and citrus industry, and Western Australia’s only surviving World War II Internment Camp and proud Italian heritage.
