Australind is coming alive over the weekend of the Harvey Region Heritage Festival. 11-13 September 2026.
Start your journey at Sweet Peas and Raindrops, who have a range of unique items handcrafted by southwest artisans. As you wander through the rooms soak up the history of the heritage listed Henton Cottage.
Cross the road and visit “St Nics” (St Nicolas Australind), one of the state’s oldest and smallest churches, who will be open on 12 and 13 September 2026 from 10am to 4pm.
And to round-off your heritage tour, why not visit the Australind Library who are hosting a history display.
If you love to walk follow the Australind Heritage Trail, which beckons travellers to slow down and savour this historically rich region.
And then back into retail mode! The Makers and Collectors Markets: Saturday, 12 September, from 9am to 1pm.
