Saturday September 6, 2025 @ 5:00pm – Geovino, then Curious Cockatoo
Join us for a night of heritage, flavour and connection as we celebrate Harvey’s rich past and vibrant culture at GeoVino and The Curious Cockatoo!
Experience the inaugural Harvey Region Heritage Festival, a three-day celebration of the local art, culture and food that has shaped our region throughout the years.
Running from 5–7 September 2025, this vibrant new festival will bring our heritage to life through immersive experiences, unique heritage events and family-friendly activities across the region.
From self-guided walking tours to heritage-themed workshops, open days and food inspired by the region’s cultural roots—this is heritage with a difference.
As part of the Harvey Region Heritage Festival, the Yarloop Masonic Lodge will be opening its doors to the community for a special Open House across the weekend.
This is Wardandi and Bindjareb Boodja (Country). First Nation people have walked our Region for thousands and thousands of years. In the 1830s, our first European settlers arrived.
During your visit to the Harvey Region, learn our heritage and culture from our First Nations people, discover our unique connection with India, some of the oldest farming homesteads in Western Australia, the beginning of a thriving timber, dairy and citrus industry, and Western Australia’s only surviving World War II Internment Camp and proud Italian heritage.
