The world’s largest torch relay, the Peace Run, is making its way around Australia, and this June, it will visit the Harvey Region.
On Sunday, 8 June, the international relay team travels along Forrest Highway, Myalup as part of their 111-day, 15,000-kilometre journey across the country. Locals and visitors alike are invited to witness this unique moment as the Shire President carries the torch on behalf of the region, celebrating peace, unity, and community spirit.
Come and be part of a global tradition that has featured renowned torchbearers including Nelson Mandela, Mother Teresa, and Cathy Freeman.
