Beyond the Basics, a hands-on 4-week course designed for those who’ve completed the beginner’s journey or have an existing journal ready to evolve.
Led by talented paper artist Leah Sawkins of the Paper Meddling Club, this workshop explores advanced techniques that bring depth, texture, and storytelling to life. Participants will learn methods such as collage and layering, distressing and aging, and how to add interactive elements like hidden pockets and fold-outs. There’s also a focus on text, stenciling, stamping, and creative embellishments to help bring personality to each page.
