Eaton – Australind Historic Trail

Eaton – Australind Historic Trail

The Eaton – Australind Historic Trail is a dual-use (walk and cycle) path that follows the Collie River and Leschenault Estuary foreshore between Eaton and Australind.

The 2.5m wide pathway runs along the Eaton Foreshore, across the Collie River Bridge, along Old Coast Road past the Leschenault Waterways Eco Museum and Australind Jetty, the Ridley Place Foreshore Precinct, and continues to Leschenault just north of the Paperbarks of Cathedral Avenue.

The trail allows users to take in the spectacular vistas of the Collie River and Leschenault Estuary and also passes many significant heritage and eco sites.

For a caffeine pick-me-up along the way, stop at Christina Street Reserve where you’ll find a very popular The Big Coffee Van most mornings.

Note: the trail will soon be extended to Buffalo Road.
