PROGRESS UPDATE
The Shire’s Destination Harvey Region team is working hard to recreate heritage trails in Australind, Harvey and Leschenault.
The first stage of the Australind Heritage Trail, funded by the Australian Government’s Local Roads and Community Infrastructure (LRCI) Program, is due for implementation in late March 2025.
Further signage, funded by the Shire of Harvey and Heritage WA, will roll out across Australind, Leschenault and Harvey between March and June 2025.
Our Tourism Officer, Stephanie Power, is working closely with stakeholders, businesses, and residents, to implement either a 1400 x 350mm sign or a 200mm QR code disc in front of their heritage property.
The second stage of the project will include the implementation of trail headers, plus a PDF map of each trail.
