Brunswick to Wokalup Ale Cycling Trail

Ride from tavern to tavern on this favourite cycling trail from Brunswick to Wokalup and be rewarded with a crisp ale and mouthwatering pub lunch at the end.

The 24km road cycling route takes riders from the historic Brunswick Tavern to The Wokalup Tavern & Brugan Brewery in Wokalup through the Region’s backroads.

Along the way, take in the stunning views over the Harvey Region’s hinterland with the Darling Scarp in the background. Pass the Benger Swamp and many heritage dairy properties – make sure you say hi to the cows!

Please drink responsibly. Or stay the night, with both properties offering pub-style accommodation.

Trailhead Location

• Park at the Brunswick Tavern or Wokalup Tavern. Note: no signage.

Grade/difficulty

• Road cycling. Relatively flat.

Length

• 24.2 kilometres (48.4 kilometres return). Note, this route involves 1km along Collins Road that is NOT bituminised. The road has a limestone base.

• 1 hour 15 minutes (2 to 2.5 hours return)
