The town of Harvey has been shortlisted in the Top Tourism Town Awards – Small Town category — a recognition that celebrates not just a destination, but the people, places and experiences that make it truly special.
This achievement is the result of a collaborative effort led by the Harvey Region team, who created a compelling submission showcasing the very best of Harvey — from wine and dine experiences, to heritage and culture, through to our much-loved hidden gems.
Importantly, this submission was strengthened by the passion and generosity of our local businesses and operators. This recognition belongs to you as much as it does to the region. We extend a sincere thank you to everyone who contributed their time and support.

Why this matters
Being named a Top Tourism Town isn’t just a title — it’s a powerful opportunity.
For visitors, it places Harvey firmly on the map as a must-visit destination in Western Australia, known for its authentic experiences, welcoming community and diverse attractions.
For local businesses and investors, it brings increased visibility, strengthens the visitor economy, and reinforces Harvey as a region full of opportunity and growth.
If successful, the Harvey Region will receive a Seven West Media advertising package, helping to further promote the area to a wider audience. In addition, support will be provided to develop audio self-guided experiences — capturing authentic community voices and sharing our rich local history in new and engaging ways.
