RV Short Stay Rest Areas
We are Hitting the Road RV Adventures.
The Shire of Harvey welcomes visitors with fully self-contained RVs to enjoy our free RV Short Stay Rest Areas in Brunswick Junction, Harvey, and Yarloop.
Maximum stay is 48 hours. Online bookings are essential.
Responsible RV Enjoyment Guidelines
Shire Rangers patrol the areas. The following conditions apply to all sites:
- The time frame between one period of stay and the next period by the same RV is 28 consecutive days within the region;
- Generators are not permitted;
- Erecting a fixed annex is not permitted;
- Clotheslines external to an RV are not permitted;
- Accessing any power outlet is not permitted; and,
- Camp or cooking fires are prohibited.
RV use and camping are only permitted in designated parking bays, and additional space must be reserved in advance by contacting info@harveyregion.com.au for a small fee. Camping or parking in other areas is not allowed.
RV use and camping in the incorrect area will contravene the Shire’s local laws and the Caravan Parks and Camping Grounds Act 1995, and can be dealt with by modified penalties.

IMPORTANT UPDATE
Please be advised that unfortunately, due to site works at the Brunswick Tennis courts, the Brunswick RV Friendly site will be unavailable from time to time during the year (2025). If the site is closed the bookings will be unavailable.
