One of Australia’s biggest one-day agricultural shows are looking forward to welcoming visitors back to celebrate all things agriculture at the Brunswick Recreation Grounds
The first Show was held in 1932 and the Show committee was formed in 1931 by local farmers and residents to show their livestock, farm and home produced wares. The Show now attracts exhibitors and judges Australia wide and has the reputation of being one of Australia’s biggest one day shows.
Brunswick is known today for dairying, beef and to some extent sheep; but neighbouring areas such as Wokalup, Myalup and Harvey have also added to this harvest – growing grapes, vegetables (especially carrots, onions, potatoes, and brassicas) and more. Not only that, but there are numerous production facilities including Brownes Dairy, Brunswick Creamery, Harvey Fresh, Ha Ve Harvey Cheese, Harvey Beef, and more.
This year, the Brunswick Show are showcasing all of this amazing local produce that makes its way from the farm to your fridge – with many interactive displays, activities and historical machinery on the HBL Football Oval.
