Yarri Hut Campsite

The Yarri Hut Campsite is one of twelve huts along the world-famous, 1000 km Munda Biddi Trail cycling route.

The purpose-built Munda Biddi campsites contain a sleeping shelter that holds 20-25 people, several tent sites, a composting toilet (bring your toilet paper!), two rainwater tanks, picnic tables and a bike storage shelter. Please note that Munda Biddi campsites are campfire-free.

Directions

From South Western Highway, turn onto Mornington Road. Travel 10.7 kms until you reach Myles Avenue (gravel). Turn left onto Myles Avenue and travel until you reach the Munda Biddi cross-section at Yukon Road. Alternatively, continue along Myles Avenue until you reach Lancaster Road. The Yarri Hut is located approximately 1.5 km off Lancaster Road.

Group Bookings

The Munda Biddi Trail campsites cannot be booked. However, as a courtesy to other users, all groups of 8 or more need to notify the Foundation by completing the Group Notification form and lodging it with Parks and Wildlife at least 4 weeks prior. The maximum number of people in one group, including leaders, is 17. Groups are not to inhabit the huts until after 6pm.
