Harvey Supa IGA

Harvey Supa IGA is open 7 days per week and sells a generous selection of fresh produce and grocery items.

If you’re looking for something for lunch, you can select from a variety of salads and snacks that are ready to go.

Located in the heart of Harvey town centre, it’s the perfect place to stop during a stroll down the main street.

History

In 1925, Harvey Co-Op advertised as a draper, grocer, hardware and produce merchant.

Unfortunately, the first Harvey Co-Op was destroyed by fire in 1935.

The building was replaced by a brick Co-Op, later known as the Sunny West Co-Operative Dairies LTD. The Co-op (now IGA) doubled in size in 1988 when the shop was extended across the car park.

Interesting Fact: The store initially had wooden verandah posts. Each Christmas, staff decorate them with eucalyptus branches and crepe paper streamers.
