Hardscape Sculpture at Harvey Dam

At the Harvey Dam Viewing Platform, you will find Hardscape  – an aluminium sculpture by American-born artist Noah Birch.

Alcoa of Australia gifted the artwork, from the 2009 Sculpture by the Sea exhibition at Cottesloe Beach to the community of Harvey.

Noah is an artist who has always worked with his hands. He is best known for working from formalist roots to create metal sculptures of poise and equilibrium, incorporating the underlying concepts of equity, equality and balance.

Noah’s work hardscape is a response to man’s unbalanced worldview.
