Built in 1906, the Church of England – St Paul’s Anglican Church was originally natural timber and located at the corner of Young and Gibbs Streets (where Harvey Primary School is now located).

At that time, Harvey residents would walk to church along a dirt Young Street.

In later years, the quaint wooden church was painted white.

St Paul’s moved to its current position at 55 Young Street on 28 June 1952.

A little over a decade later, in February 1963, the new and larger St Paul’s Anglican Church was built next door.

The Church continues to operate with Sunday Church Service starting at 9.30am.
