Go where Back Roads go! For eleven seasons, the much-loved ABC show Back Roads has travelled to the small towns and communities that make Australia special. Last March, Back Roads visited Harvey and experienced the Harvey Harvest Festival.
Presenter Lisa Millar also discovered must-visit Harvey attractions such as Boola Bidi Dreaming Centre, Wildflower Ridge Walk, Harvey River Estate and the Big Orange, Harvey River, Stirling Cottage Gardens Precinct, the Harvey Internment Camp Memorial Shrine, and the Noongar Kaartdijin Bidee (Noongar Knowledge Path).
The result was an incredible episode, which screened on 28 August.
This Thursday, 11 September, Back Roads returns to the Harvey Region. Radio and TV personality Myf Warhurst continues her van life odyssey in Western Australia, spending time with Ladies Camping Australia at the magnificent Logue Brook Dam and Lake Brockman Tourist Park.
The show airs on ABC TV on Thursdays at 8pm and all episodes are available on ABC iview.
