Stirling Cottage Gardens

Located just north of Harvey on the South Western Highway, the heritage Stirling Cottage Gardens is a wonderful place to stop, grab a coffee and relax as you wander through the cottage-style gardens.

The Stirling Cottage Gardens include a 19th-century style fountain, a mini orchard, a water monument, and an enchanting secret garden. Don’t miss the Tulip season in winter.

Within the gardens is Stirling Cottage–a replica of the 1850s cottage that was home to Governor Sir James Stirling and the creator of Snugglepot and Cuddlepie, legendary Australian author May Gibbs. The cottage now houses the Stirling Cottage Kitchen tearooms.

Afterwards, take a walk along the May Gibbs Trail, venture under the Harvey River Bridge to experience the Noongar Kaartdijin Bidee Trail, or pay a visit to the Boola Bidi Dreaming Centre.

This venue is extremely popular for weddings and concerts.
