Once Upon A Time Mural Wokalup
Leading Western Australian street artist Andrew Frazer created the mural as a tribute to the Mornington train tragedy that occurred on 6 November 1920.
The artwork, titled Once Upon a Time, is intended to honour those personally impacted by this moment in time and for years to come.
The mural also speaks to the present through the reimagining of the physical built form, both as the Wokalup Tavern and Brugan Brewery.
It is a space to share stories, encourage community and inspire future endeavours.
I’m continually pushing myself to create work that speaks to the site, community and a deepened sense of belonging. I hope and trust this has been achieved.
