Harvey Fish & Chips

Harvey Fish and Chips is not your standard fish and chip shop. Besides mouthwatering, locally caught Bronze whaler with crunchy chips, you will find the owner’s Italian heritage shines through with Ciabatta rolls, the best catering grazing platters in the Region, and decadent Italian Cannolis.

There are a few dine-in tables or place a takeaway order. For those rushed for time, hit the grab-n-go options, including lunch boxes, rolls, sandwiches and specials of the day.

Pauline and her team also offer grazing boxes and picnic hampers, perfect for catering for your next event or family day out.

This quaint building was once called Fryer Bros. Established in 1922, Fryer Bros. was a general store in Harvey during the 1920s and 30s run by brothers Doug and Syd Fryer.

The brothers both worked in the original Wilson’s Store until 1921, when the shop burnt down. This led them to establish their own store.

Fryer Bros. sold groceries, fruit and vegetables, hardware and produce. Their service also included deliveries.
