Dick Lofthouse Rotary Walk

On the Dick Lofthouse Rotary Walk, enjoy amazing views over the Harvey Dam and across the farmland to the west.

This moderately difficult 1.5-kilometre trail takes you across Gibbs Pool, up to the top of Harvey Dam, across the dam wall, and then winds back to Gibbs Pool.

In Spring, the wildflowers in the native gardens are spectacular.

 

Trailhead Location

  • The trail begins at the Gibbs Pool Southern Car Park, off Weir Road. From the car park, head west along the footpath.

Grade/difficulty

  • Grades 2 to 3 – a range of surfaces, including gravel, wood, and bitumen paths with many stairs. Note, if pram or wheelchair access is required, we suggest visitors park at the viewing platform car park and then walk the dam wall.

  • 1.5 kilometres circuit

Duration

  • 30 – 45 minutes.
