Noongar Kaatdjin Bidi – Noongar Knowledge River Path Tour

Uncover the cultural history of the Harvey River and the Noongar Kaatdjin Bidi trail with a local Aboriginal tour guide.

The tour commences at 11am from the Boola Bidi Dreaming Centre, next door to the Stirling Cottage Gardens precinct. The trail crosses the Harvey River and passes under the South West Highway underpass, offering views along the river and featuring Noongar art and interpretive signage that describes the six Noongar Seasons.

The trail passes a lovely shady, open space where you can stop for a picnic or return the same way.

Your Guide will explain how much the river has been restored over the past 12 years, thanks to community involvement from local groups, to bring the river closer to its natural state.
