Myalup Road Water Tank Mural

Designed with its roadside location in mind, this mural uses bold, simple elements that are easy for passing traffic to recognise, while the colour palette complements the surrounding landscape.

Inspired by the nearby Lighthorse Trail, the artwork by Sharon Hinchcliffe features flowing horse imagery that shifts gently from one form to another, creating a strong sense of movement around the tank. The design wraps seamlessly across the surface, with layered patterns influenced by the local waterways and natural environment, bringing together place, history and landscape in a cohesive visual story.
