Cookernup Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade
The Cookernup Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade has been a part of the community for 84 years, with members having previously fought fires across the State, in NSW’s Blue Mountains and back home.
The branch was awarded the Pride of Australia Medal for members’ efforts during the 2016 Yarloop-Waroona bushfires.
