Buffalo Beach

Watch the sunset in the Harvey Region at Buffalo Beach. This short stretch of beach is also ideal for recreational fishing and swimming.

This day-use site is located within the Leschenault Peninsula Conservation Park and provides 4WD access to the beach, toilets and parking. Dogs are allowed on a leash.

A raised boardwalk and lookout deck with great views of the beach can be accessed from the car park by steps or a long ramp. The beach itself is accessed from the lookout deck and car park by walking a short distance over the dunes through soft sand.

Four-wheel-drive vehicles can drive down onto the beach from the car park.

Dolphins are frequently spotted frolicking in the waves along Buffalo Beach.

Fish Caught: Silver bream, Tailor, Yellowfin whiting, Herring, Flathead, small Shark, Skippy, Mulloway, Salmon and Dhufish.

To the south of Buffalo Beach are Belvidere Beach and The Cut Camping and Day Use Site.
