PROJECT UPDATE
A new suite of interpretive signage has been installed throughout the Stirling Cottage Gardens Precinct in Harvey, replacing faded and defaced signs with informative panels that celebrate the site’s State Heritage status and rich local history.
The signage upgrade is designed to enhance the visitor experience by providing immediate recognition of the precinct’s heritage buildings and key identities.
The signs include information about the Harvey River, May Gibbs, Sir James Stirling and the Harvey Estate, Harvey Oranges, and the Shrine Walk.
QR codes featured on the signs allow visitors to access additional digital content and stories via their phones.
In the following months, additional upgrades include a new Stirling Cottage Gardens Precinct map and updated May Gibbs Trail signage.
