Women’s Grants for a Stronger Future

The Women’s Grants for a Stronger Future Program is now open and the Grants support the development of projects that advance gender equality to build a better, fairer and more equitable community.

This year, there are four separate grant opportunities available for Harvey Region businesses:

  1. Annual Grants Program: Grants up to $10,000 for one-off initiatives;
  2. Pilot Projects Grants Program: Grants between $20,000 to $50,000 for pilot projects with a duration of two years that target one or more of the four priority areas of Stronger Together (health, safety and justice, economic independence and leadership);
  3. Women-led Economic Initiatives Grants Program: Grants between $50,000 to $100,000 for women-led, community-based initiatives that focus on driving economic gender equality; and
  4. Safety and Justice Grants Program: Grants between $100,000 to $250,000 for projects that work towards the primary prevention of violence against women, with a focus on sexual violence.

Applications close on 16 August 2024 and successful applicants will be notified early December 2024.
