The local Aboriginal people and traditional custodians of the Harvey Region are the Bindjareb and Wardandi Noongar people who have a rich social, spiritual, and historical connection to this country. We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land and their continuing connection to the land, waters and community. Our British, Italian, Indian and Italian settlers, who each have contributed to this place we all call home, have also influenced our community.

This, combined with our diverse and stunning landscape, continues to provide inspiration to our arts and culture, and our dynamic community of artisans.
