The Harvey Region continues to shine as a culinary hotspot, with the Treendale Farm Hotel in Australind recently clinching the Country WA title at the 2025 AHA & Little Creatures WA’s Best Steak Sandwich Competition.
Head Chef JunHwi Heo’s innovative creation featured South West black Angus scotch fillet, cheddar cheese, kimchi relish, and a smoky sauce on a Turkish roll, impressing judges and securing back-to-back wins for the venue.
This achievement follows the recent success of other local businesses, such as Harvey Cheese, Halls Family Dairy, and St Duke’s Distillery, who have all been recognized for their excellence in the 2025 WA Dairy Awards.
These accolades underscore the Harvey Region’s commitment to quality and innovation in the food and beverage industry.
